Description:

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, a program administered by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers (www.artandwriting.org), are longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teenagers in the United States. In 2008, 140,000 submissions of student art and writing were registered by students across the country for evaluation by professionals, with the top 1% receiving national Awards.

To identify, motivate and validate the next generation of artists and writers.
